Exporting Data User Guide
Gem Logic allows you to export data from any list view, such as contacts, inventory, sales, and repairs. This feature enables you to work with your data outside the system for reporting, analysis, and backup.
Exporting Data Manually
- Navigate to the List View: Go to the section containing the data you want to export (e.g., Contacts, Sales).
- Go to Actions on the top right > Export.
- Choose your preferred format:
- CSV: Ideal for spreadsheets and data manipulation.
- Excel: For structured, tabular data.
- PDF: For printed reports and document sharing.
- JSON: For integration with other systems or data analysis tools.
- Wait for the export to process, then download the file to your device by clicking the green download button.
Scheduling Automatic Exports
Gem Logic supports scheduling automatic exports to streamline data management and reporting. To set up an automated export:
- Navigate to the List View: Go to the section containing the data you want to export (e.g., Contacts, Sales).
- Go to Actions on the top right > Export history.
- Click the Schedule export button on the top right.

Practical Use Cases
- Weekly Sales Reports: Schedule a weekly Excel export of sales data for easy review.
